Our tribute to Queen Elizabeth II. Her Majesty may not have been the first person people think of when discussing the world's most famous automotive enthusiasts, but there are no shortage of anecdotes about her love for driving. TMGPS supporters will be delighted to know that she once went so far as to return an automatic Land Rover Defender 110 to the manufacturer, with a note requesting that they replace it with the manual version. During World War II she contributed to war effort by driving and maintaining a military ambulance, and it would seem she developed quite an affection for tooling around the British countryside in some humble machinery.
